Do you wear contacts? Glasses? Single vision, bi-focals, trifocals? Are you near-sighted, far-sighted or have good vision?

I wear bi-focal glasses. I have tried contacts but with all my allergies, they were a nuisance. I have a pair of computer glasses but they are useless. I cannot see the screen clearly with them. I normally take my glasses off while on the computer or reading and put them one for everything else. I am near-sighted.

My glasses were recently destroyed.
I'm near-sighted, and have already been told by my opthamologist that my next pair will be bi-focals.

Near-sighted and I'm supposed to wear glasses 24/7. But I don't. I wear my prescription sunglasses more than I ever wear my regular glasses. Both pairs are bifocal.

I used to wear green contacts (I have blue eyes) and loved them. They went well with my auburn hair.

I only wear glasses when reading fine print books. I am not wearing any at this moment because I have a large 27 inch screen which in addition I can zoom in to any level. The new phone I have also has the largest screen in the industry and I can use that now without wearing glasses. And that is exactly why I bought the two items. Since my vision is OK otherwise, I got sick and tired of losing pair after pair of glasses and God only knows how many pair Persi has knocked under things.
So the direct answer is that now I only wear glasses to read fine print.

I always have to have contacts or glasses since 2nd or 3rd grade. Someday I will get Lasik.

Same with when I am on the computer. I have no idea where my glasses are but I got them 6 years ago and have only worn them a few times. I need to get new glasses but that requires getting an eye exam and that costs about $75 plus a couple hundred for new glasses. Can't afford that right now.

I used to be able to read without my glasses sometimes, but those days are long passed. I wear bi-focals, supposed to wear tri-focals but MEDICAID waon't pay for them.

I wear my bifocals at all times, have special glasses for the computer that work really well and I have prescription sunglasses. To tell you the truth, I don't know if I'm nearsighted or farsighted. All I know is I need glasses to see well.

My official work glasses are trifocals. When I did work I left them on my desk and wore them only for work.

I used to wear contacts, wore them for over 20 years until my arthritis got in the way and I had problems with my hands. After carpel tunnel I couldn't wear them for awhile. I finally just gave up and went back to glasses.

I also have a "real" prescription pair for driving. For reading I just use drug store magnifying glasses.

I wear hard contact lenses. I've been wearing them for over 40 years - never had any problem with them. Recently, I've been getting the "mono" lenses, which means one lens is for up close. It works great. I don't need to use the magnifying eyeglasses for reading. But if I do, it's usually the lowest (1.25), and I get a cheap pair at the drug store. That's also usually a sign that I should go in for an exam - then I get new lenses and don't need the reading glasses.

I have a pair of glasses which I put on at night, after I take out my lenses. They're bifocals.

I had perfect vision until about 6 months after I started to work in IT, then I became near sighted. 30 years in IT left me near sighted. When I left that career last December, it took 6 months for my near sightedness to vanish. Now that my eyes are older, I am officially far sighted.

I wear bifocals because I have astigmatism that I need corrected for distance, and I also need correction for anything close. My arms are just not long enough to read anything these days.

I'm extremely nearsighted. I wear my contacts about 90% of the time, because my thick (heavy) glasses trigger migraines. I have my contacts set up for mono-vision, one eye for near, the other for far. When I do wear my glasses, they are bifocals. I have an eye doctor appointment tomorrow morning. I'll probably be getting new glasses (current ones are about 3 years old) and a new prescription for contacts, as it's getting a little difficult to see up close, to suture.

Perfect vision here, no corrective lenses required. I am extremely sensitive to sunlight though, so I have to carry sunglasses with me everywhere.

I wear glasses. Use to wear contacts but my eyes get really dry with them plus putting my glasses on is easier. I can't see anything past 1ft away from me
And it sucks when Neko knocks my glasses off the headboard and behind the bed

I wanted colored contacts badly when i was in highschool but after an eyevisit i was told my pupils were to large for them. I can see the colored part which just makes thing blurry! No, i cant see in blue/green/hazel, just blurry. Wonder if things have changed since then. The bf likes me in glasses anyway

Contacts. My vision is -1.25 on both eyes. (nearsighted) I also have 0.25 astigmatism which goes uncorrected.

I Actually just ordered circle lenses so that will be really interesting!

I wear contacts during the day, change to my glasses at night. I used to live in my contacts but they were making my eyesight worse. My new ones are so much easier to get in and out so its not a problem, and my eyes feel happier too! Single vision. I'm near-sighted. Cant wait to get me some Lasik though so I can stop worrying about contacts and glasses altogether until I'm older.
