Morning folks!

Another sunny day here today. Off to work in a few and I drop DH off at his job before I go as well.

Tonight I might stay late at work because I am quite behind. Then perhaps a rollerblade afterward!

I found out yesterday that I get 4 weeks holidays next year and I am pretty pumped about that!!! I need more time off and I only have 2 days left

You all have a good day!

Morning all!!

Im being a bum today! We went and looked at the Explorer last night and the seller is willing to give BF a GREAT deal on it...Literally like 50% off! The guy can sell it for 6500 possibly more. Its got 114k 2002 Ford Explorer, the body is GREAT minus the two tiny dents in the driver and passenger side door. BF can get it for 3k if he puts the tranny in himself, brand new tranny sitting right there oh and the torque converter needs flushed. WHY O WHY if my car is probably not going to make it thru the next two weeks (she has develops severe shaking once you hit 60mph like a wheel is going to fall off) WHY is he not calling Bank O Bob and asking him about payments or whatever financial stuff he deals with. Grrr seriously we NEED to replace the car, this is a GREAT deal and Im soo MAD at him right now and I have to literally knaw the inside of my cheek off when I talk to him because Im about ready to act like a 2 yr old throwing a temper tantrum. Its cheap, its in good shape, so why not spend the extra money (that we can afford) on a freakin car that will last more than a year.

Stupid men!

I hope you all have a better day than me. I guess Ill wash the evil shaking tempremental Bertha today even though I wish I could smash her to a pulp with a sledge hammer and take her to the scrap yard! Stupid men, stupid cars. Ok Im dont whining Im starting to irritate myself in my head!

Morning!

Dana and I ended up going to see Inception last night, GREAT movie!
He needed it. He's pretty upset right now because work is screwing him around and not giving him the raise he is supposed to be getting with his promotion due to a "wage freeze" which is utter bs. They're just trying to screw him around.
One day at a time I guess.

Tonight I am doing nothing but RELAXING!

Morning!

Another hot day on the way. We seriously need rain again (or still). We have more tomatoes that are finally starting to ripen. We've gotten tons of zucchini and all kinds of peppers from the garden. One tomato so far. The bean plants have come back from being devastated by groundhogs or bunnies and we saw a few teeny little beans on some of the plants last night. Maybe we'll get some beans after all....sure would be nice. I'm really get tired of zucchini!

And that's it from here. Enjoy your Hump Day!
(is it Friday yet?)

Good morning. I don't know what has gotten into me this week. I have been a cleaning mad woman! There is a section of counter top that is a magnet for junk. I finally cleaned it off and left one thing out to put pocket junk in. Mom is freaking out b/c that's her junk spot.
She had a planter and a coffee mug collecting coins, buttons, twist ties...you name it and I left her with one plate (suppose to hold a bottle of chilled wine like a coaster). I am pretty proud of myself but now I have the sneezes.

I am hoping to take the rest of the day off from cleaning.

See ya later.

Wow ! That must be more than upsetting to devote so many years to a company working towards a personal goal with commitments from that company and then have them pull them crap on you like that after only a few weeks .
Is this an organization where everyone has been promised raises for years that never materialize ?

Sounds like a legitimately terrible place to work.
Remind me never to leave a boring but highly secure job in the basement of a public library.

Good afternoon

Work was alright today, got in and got out in a decent amount of time. Had an auditor come in a day early but after 4 years of being there, its nothing. She kept trying to confuse me though

After work I had to go to the college's financial aid dept, where I went a few days ago and got sent away being told to go somewhere else!! I emailed them and got a response today saying that I WAS in fact supposed to go to the financial aid dept. The stars must have been aligned PERFECTLY today.
I walked in, went to pay for classes first and there was NO wait, went to financial aid and there were 12 numbers in front of me (earlier in the week there were at least 30+ people waiting), I waited maybe 15 minutes to get in. I get in, the guy stamped all the papers barely said a word, and I was done. Went to go buy my books and walked in, crickets! There were only two other people in the bookstore! Woohoo! Got it all finished in less than 40 minutes. Did have to fight a little with Walgreens to fill my BC prescription a week early, since I'll be somewhere driving across the country when I need a refill. Ugh cost $72 instead of $15 since insurance rejected it (refilled too soon) but I'd rather pay the extra for the pills than term.

Now I'm waiting for my MIL to get home, so I can go over and make some queso. I bribed my co-worker to weigh up 24 dead frozen fish samples that were a year old (GROSS) and in turn I'd make him the queso he loves. GREAT deal! He even turned down the $ I offered

Then I guess I should begin packing for previously mentioned cross country trip!! We leave Saturday!
