Hello, everyone. About a week and a half ago I adopted a beautiful cat from the Humane Society that I've named Salvatore. He's 5 1/2 months old and seems to fit the description of an Oriental, but there's no way I know for sure. He enjoys sleeping in the sun, chasing after laser points, playing with hair elastics, and having his belly rubbed. He purrs every time he's picked up and is definitely a lover. He's very patient and lets me trim his nails, wipe his face, and give him medicine without protest. Pretty sure I struck a goldmine with this one! Unfortunately, he's a little sick right now but hopefully we'll be back to 100% soon.
As for me, my name is Catherine (I was destined to be a cat owner with this name) and I live in Texas. Sal is my first all-indoor cat, but I was raised with cats that split their time inside and outside.
