Ok so years ago I tried a sifting litter box...never thought much of it dumped at some point. So lately I have been messing around with litter options and found dr elseys senior litter(looks like a clumping clay as very fine) so I was in petsmarts litter box aisle and saw a sifting hooded box...hmmm.
Bought one and I filled one tray up and kept the hood off along with a pan and the sifter...I now have the worlds biggest litter scoop-just dump the litter into the sifter/spare box. Ok I have to many cats to not care about the ease of scooping. Works fine with the arm hammer essentials and dr litter. My cats are so good hearted they don't care to much what I do(I leave a box with regular fresh step no matter what I mess around with in other boxes just in case they HATE new stuff.
