"Droppings"

I recently adopted a long haired cat. She is 6 years old, very sweet, and very adorable . However, we have a slight pooping problem. Sometimes when she jumps down from the windowsill, she drops pieces of poop. It has happened twice in the past few days. Once on the ground, once on my BED! She is using the litterbox normally, and the poop is not smushed, so I don't think it is stuck in her fur. It just falls out. Any suggestions as to how to stop this? Thank you!

My Lola is a medium-longhair. She has "normal" looking poop that travels with her sometimes, and deposits in the most unpleasant locations!

I call them 'cling-ons'. I'd try clipping the fur around her butt to see if that helps some (a sanitary shave), as I wouldn't be surprised if this isn't just an issue of poop sticking to her fur.
