The move date for me and the kitties is the 22nd of August. It's getting here way too fast!

I've got most of our stuff packed, other than the essentials, and the cats all seem to realize that something's going on. They don't want to go outside. They're wanting more attention and reassurance. The spare bedroom -- their bedroom-- is about 3/4 full of boxes. They love climbing all over them but at the same time they seem uncertain, scared, and stressed.

I've got feliway going, and everyone's getting extra love. I think I'm doing everything I can to make this move as stress-less as possible. We're all a little bored now, because all of our toys are packed up, but we'll survive.

I'm not looking forward to moving into our tiny little room at my MIL's, but it's a roof until we find a place of our own.

All 4 of my babies are getting rabies shots on the 17th so I have documentation -- can anyone suggest other paperwork I need since we'll be crossing state lines? Anyway, wish us luck!

Good luck with relocating!
It's always stressful when moving so here's some calming

There is an interstate health certification form but my understanding is it isn't rigorously enforced like for dogs and the state you are moving may not require any documentation for cats. Also I'm not sure all vets are accredited to issue one -- so they are the ones to "vet" it with.

Vibes and good thoughts being sent your way. Here's hoping for a relaxed, event-free ride all around !
