The vet said we will hold off on more kidney tests for awhile.
Cocos PCV stayed the same last week.
When it falls to 20% we will start the Epogen which should be this Thurs.
Snickerdoodle Boos mom sent me some of the Hi Tor and Coco likes it.
She still does not walk well.
The vet did start her on another bp med and another antibiotic.

I'm glad that Coco likes the Hi-Tor! Do you know what her potassium (K+) level is? Cats with low potassium often have trouble walking. Anemia can cause trouble walking because of lower oxygenation of the blood. Have you had her checked for metabolic acidosis? Metabolic acidosis can cause muscle wasting, which in turn can cause difficulty walking. It can be treated with sodium bicarbonate. Continued prayers for Coco and you...

That's great that she likes the Hi Tor. Hopefully just eating more will help her gain more strength. Sven is kind of wobbly too...I was hoping that was just part of old age, but after reading the above post by Pookie, maybe there's more to it. I'll have to check with my Vet on that, as I'm guessing you will too.

Thanks Both of You
I do not see any potassium/K on the recent tests.
I will ask the vet about that.
I know part of the weakness is the anemia.
Coco tried to jump on the chair today but she was not strong enough and fell.
Now she is not feeling well again and has not eaten to much.
Earlier today she ate alot.
I do not think she has been checked for
metabolic acidosis.
She still has a fast heart rate.
It is between 220-240.
We both will have to ask our vets.

Keep up the improvements Coco!

I am glad that she is eating a little more. That is sad about her falling, poor baby.

I hope the next bloodwork is even better than the last!
