so i got an email from a cat rescue about alady trying to find her daughters siamese ahome. this cat left a loving sweet cat and returned back to the ladies house a scared former shadow of her loving self...she let her daughter take the cat with when went to college. shes frightened will bite and claw to defend herself. this lady also runs a boxer rescue. so the dogs where also chasing and terrorizing her. we no longer have dogs here so that should make her a bit more comfortable. she is shut in my kitchen with my senior cat who has so far been a calming influence on her. im going to leave her be for a few days even a week to let her settle so she realizes she is in no danger. does this sound like an abused animal to you? she is 4 and i have all her vet paper work she just got her distemper and rabies up dated on the 4th. she is spayed. completelly healthy. just an skittish girl..she is also 12.4lbs.

I would not say abused, but tramatized (probably by the dogs). It will take awhile but sounds like you are on the right track. If you rehome her, she could never live with a dog.

rehome her ha ha...any siamese that ends up here usually becomes a perm resident. everybody knows this. im in the process of getting a building permitto build a outside cat cage that hooks to the side of my house...building permits suck..ugh too many hoops to go through.
