I woke up this morning to the sound of a horrible cat fight outside. It was so bad that my two kitties were sent running into the closet when they heard it. (and they were both peacefully curled up on me.

After the cat fight. I heard the most pitiful full volumed howl that was just full of pain coming from one of the cats. a Few seconds later my neighbor came out calling and whistling for her cat. And another painful howl responded.
this went back and forth for a few minutes.

Now I know she was worried because there is this one feral cat that keeps on REALLY badly beating up her cat.

SHe is elderly and not in good health. So any vibes for the poor kitty that was hurt in the fight would be great.

(I live in a VERY cat friendly apartment complex. everyone looks out for each others cats and its cool all the cat people know each other's cats names and what they look like. and people say hello to each others cats when they pass them in the windows)

I would have gotten up to see what I could help her with if I knew it was her cat. Hope everything works out...

I did get up. But by the time I got to the scene she was gone. It really did happen very quickly.

I am going to make a point of stopping by and seeing if she and the kitty are ok tomorrow.

Aw, poor kitty! I hope he/she is ok; maybe your neighbor should make her kitty a house cat?

I asked her but she said that he was always an outdoor cat but he is so friendly he always gets his tailed kicked by the feral cats who live outside.

i went to see her today but she wasn't home but I also haven't seen her cat around so maybe she kept him in today.
