Alcoholic neighbour

My neighbor is a serious alcoholic. Her place stinks of kitty litter bad. I have to walk by her door everyday as she only lives across the hall. She has 3 cats. 2
adults and one kitten. We are having one of our hottest summers in a long time and she leaves her cats outside all day. We have seen them on our balcony tons of times. We don't mind that. But we have seen them panting many times. So we have put out a large bowl for them of ice water. Our 3 cats are indoor and we do the same for them. We have also left a dish of food out for them before as well when she didn't come home for four days. We have told our neighbor plenty of times that she needs to bring in her cats. We have even left notes for her threatening to contact the SPCA if her she didn't take her cats in. We really don't want to but we may have no choice. What do you think we should do?

PS. Does anyone know how to stop the cursor from jumping while typing? It's really annoying. lol

Her animals are being neglected. What I would do is find someone who can take them in and find them homes. Chances are none of them are spayed/neutered either.

Do those poor babies a favour and look out for them by finding them new homes!

ok we know for a fact that none of her cats are spayed. our 2 older cats came from one other litters. The mother cat is Sasha. the other adult female whose name i don't know is from the same litter as our 2 adults. the kitten is from a recent litter. also because they outside all the time the 2 adults of hers are pregnant. Sasha is only 3 and this will be her 8th litter we're told. the first for the other adult

Do these babies a favour and get them out of that neglectful environment and into a safe, warm, loving home.

My neighbour is out once again and has left a sign on her door saying she will be gone for the week. her kitten came over to my balcony along with Sasha and we have brought her in. They are staying at my brother's place down the hall until tomorrow morning. We will be calling SPCA then to see what we should do. My brother is also willing to take all 3 cats if need be. He's great. Be said he will take them to "The Cat Clinic" which is a really good veterinary office. We actually bring our cats there. He will take them all in to be checked and have shots and a spaying when the time comes. Although I did tell him that if the 2 adults are early in their pregnancy the vet could still do a spay. He said no to that. Unless completely necessary. Sasha has had previous litters before but the other " adult" isn't even a year

Right now my mom is trying to call the other cat over so we can bring her in

Interesting. I wonder who that sign is "for"? This woman sounds like a mess. She doesn't realize how serious it is to leave cats outside to freely reproduce Ugghhh

Bless you and your family for caring and going above and beyond
