RIP Boomer

Seventeen years ago a little fur ball found our family. At the time my son was barely toddling around the front yard and this kitten followed him around everywhere. It was then Boomer became a member of my family.

He was the best kitty ever. I don't remember him ever raising a claw to either human or feline. He just loved everyone.

I had to have him put to sleep this morning. He was just so old and loosing weight and just didn't seem to enjoy things. I have been struggling with that decision for days. He knew I was upset and looked at me and put his paw on me in comfort. Deep down I knew it was his time and he knew it to.

I was with him when he passed. I held his paw, told him how much I loved him. He passed away purring.

I can't write anymore.

I'm so grateful he had such a gentle passing. I am sure he will be sorely missed.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Boomer was a very loved cat, that's for sure, and he knew it. How lucky he was!

I know it is hard to believe, but brighter days will come. Then your memories will be sweet. Until then, prayers and hugs are being sent your way. I am so sorry for your loss of Boomer. He was a blessed cat to have had a family who loved him so much.Boomer, rest in peace.

I am so very sorry......we all know very well the heartbreak of loosing one of our little friends.

But, what a long life he had and I bet he never wanted for anything. I wish all owners were as kind hearted as you are.

I wish there was another healer, but time is the only one. One day, you will find yourself remembering back with a smile, and not a tear.

That will be the day when Boomer takes up residence in your hearts.

Thank you all for the kind words. I am having him cremated so he will always be with me. I think this is the urn I am going to get for him.



I really like the saying on it.
