Good Morning! JR slept in today and I woke on my own. I got to drink 1/4 my coffee before he woke up. He is talking to his bears right now.

Nothing going on. I finished washing the bathroom rugs yesterday. It felt so good to have them clean again. I love having a washer again. Today I have to tackle the kitchen floor.

Have a great one!

Morning all!

Another hot and humid day. DH got the brilliant idea of opening the windows last night to let in cooler air once the sun set-well he also let in the humid air!!
So it was way to sticky in bedroom so I tried to sleep on sofa with fan blowing on me.
All windows now shut up.

Also due to rainy summer I'm dealing with major sweet ant infestation. Bought ant baits last night and I opened the last one already. I see now where they are coming from so tonite we are moving the refrigerator to investigate. Gross!

Running a couple of errands before work-stopping at Barnes and Noble to investigate buying a Nook.

Not much else going on. Have a good one...............

Morning!

Dh and I took vacation days, partly because of Mollipop who came home from the hospital last night.....I wanted to be with her on her first day home. But also, our son is bringing our grandchildren up to spend the afternoon with us and to have dinner with us tonight. My grandson (he's 4) requested snickerdoodles, so I got up early this morning and threw some together for him. Our little granddaughter is 2 and she'll pretty much eat any kind of cookie. They are sweeties!

Molli seems to be doing OK, but she hates the collar, poor baby. As soon as we take it off, though, she starts digging. I don't want her to pop a stitch, so the collar stays on as much as possible. She tries to remove it, but (so far....knock on wood!), she's not had much luck, although she did manage to get one of her ears out over it.

Enjoy your Hump Day! Don't work too hard....

I am glad Mollipop is home! Lucky always walked like a drunk when he had his on. Hopefully she gets used to it while she heals.

Thank you! Mollipop loses her balance and falls whenever she shakes her head. She's getting better, although she can't understand why she can't get through the rungs of the chairs in the kitchen right now! And she saw herself in the mirror and was more than a little taken aback....you know, I think she's almost embarrassed!
Thanks for thinking of her.

Poor lil Mollipop! Heal up quickly sweetie pie!

It's freezing here at work today and I have a sweater on! They're always crazy with the air conditioning, very annoying.
Dana has an interview for a better position here at work today. PLEASE send vibes. This would be a big step for him, and we've heard through the grape vine that his chances are very good as he has a lot of higher ups singing his praises.
It would be a huge thing if he were to get this position.

Right here! :)
Today I plan to do something fun with my son, as yesterday we didn't really do anything with him.
We came home from your trip very late the night before last. (between 1 and 2 AM). The trip was so very great. We went for lots of hikes and had lots of fun. We went all around the country and on our last day drove past the area where allmost all of the ash fell when the volcano erupted earlier this year and collected some ash, as my son is very excited about the whole thing.
So yesterday went with washing clothes, putting camping things away and such. So today we'll do somethin fun!

Don't ever forget to get the regular dried cat food and think that you can feed Butzie her "treatsies" for breakfast. Not gonna be a good morning. I have already been to the supermarket for her regular food.

You think that she would have been happy not just with the treats but with the emory board drenched with catnip with a toy I got her yesterday. But, no, had to have the correct nummies this am.

Oh! I did have a nice date last night who has a cat.

Today is a very hot, humid day. This summer is just dragging on and on and on.

This week I heard from two different people that their kits have cancer and I feel so bad about that. One is a friend from PA that I have known for a few years, her kitty Julie is full of cancer and has only months to live. The other kitty's Mom is a friend I met on my baseball forum, she is from MO. Her kitty also has months to live, her cat's name is Petey. Just wanted to mention them and I am sending prayers to both of them. I pray they have a good quality of life for the amount of time they are with us.
