Hi all you kitty lovers I'm so glad I found this place! It looks like a lot of fun

I'm Kristin, 27, from central IL. I currently live with my bf, our 3 kids, 2 chihuahuas, 1 snake, and our newest addition; Urmah, our calico kitten .

Urmah (named after her mother Darma lol) was rescued by a friend of my bf's. She (and several litter mates) were found in the tow lot his parents own and because he has an addiction to cats, he took them in. He couldn't get ahold of the mommy or she would have come too. Anyway- long story short, I couldn't pass her up. She's about 7wks old and just the cutest little thing! It's been about 14yrs since I had a kitten this young. She's still pretty nervous around people, and my 2 chi's are not in love with her or her attention sucking ways lol, but she's growing on us fast . I love her already and I just got her Sunday .

I can't post pics cause my camera took its last picture about a week ago . But when I get another one I'll post 'em .

Welcome to you and your newest fur addition to the family.

If you can - try to capture Mom and get her fixed. Call around and see if any rescues have humane live traps.. or maybe your local animal control. That way there won't be any more ooops litters to deal with.

hi and welcome to you and your kitten. its great here and I hope you enjoy yourself and i can't wait to see pics of Urmah. and i also agree with attempting to capture the mother cat. i had the same deal with a litter of kittens born in my backyard in a neighbor's old unused car and a family friend gave us a humane trap to borrow and all the kittens and the mother cat were rescued. the kittens were adopted out. even the mother cat found a good home. anyway, i hope to see you around the site and i hope you enjoy it here at TCS!
