How to introduce new cats

Hello,

I currently live in two different places and I move frequntly between them.

In both houses I have a cat.

first cat is a 2 year old male

second cat is a 1 year old, male


I'm bringing the 2 year old to the other house with the 1 year old cat.


both are scaredy cats. when they see people or other cats even 6 weeks old kittens they run and hide for the whole day.

I don't know what to do!

If you have two pet carriers, you can put each of them in one and place the carriers a foot or two apart, facing each other so the cats can get used to seeing each other. Put a towel in each carrier then switch them so the cats can get used to each other's scents. If they have a few days to get used to the fact there's another cat before they come face to face, it might be an easier adjustment.
