Keno saw our vet tonight and was given a clean bill of health. No fleas (yay - Frontline wins again) and we have Panacur for the worms.
Our vet is not overly concerned about the hernia and says it may sort itself out but if not, when Keno gets neutered at 5 months old, he'll fix the hernia at the same time.
He says Keno is quite a good weight - 1.5kg (2 1/2 lbs) for his age.
Keno's getting regular, good meals and I'm sure, once the worms are gone he'll grow like a weed.
I didn't get off so lightly at the hospital this morning though

I now have my left forearm firmly encased in plaster. Three of the x-rays were inconclusive, but the fourth, taken at a different angle showed a problem with the scaphoid bone which is probably a break.
I now sport a purple plaster cast (it's made of fibreglass). My thumb is completely out of action but at least my fingers are free so I can still type OK. I have to go back to the hospital in 3 weeks time for a further review and see what happens then.
With a scaphoid fracture, it is not uncommon to be in plaster for 3 months.
Still, I'm milking the sympathy vote for all I can. It's quite fun having hubby and son running after me.
I never realised how awkward it is not being able to use my thumb. Good job I'm right-handed and it's my left that's in plaster. Still going to work tomorrow though as most of my work can be done one-handed.
