Ok, I just made some bacon for blts for dinner. Have some drippings left.

It's almost time to feed my gang their wet food. Would a bit of bacon fat lightly drizzled over their food do them any harm?

We hardly ever have bacon ourselves so it would not be a recurring thing.

Thanks!

Harm is in the beholders eyes... Pork fat is Completely NOT digestable to a cat .... Bacon has loads of chemical preserving agents( unless your getting organic)

Once in a while likely not an issue... IMHO I steer clear which in my house is easy as I am allergic to pork

I would guess that it is not a good idea to give, even as a treat, bacon fat to cats.
Bacon is really salty...
the fat is probably salty too.

It's funny you mention this because a few weeks ago I was thinking of cooking vegetarian food for myself (or in my case, experimenting since it's so easy for me to fail in the kitchen! Cooking = experimenting here. Well, not always, but often enough) ---and if it didn't turn out so great, I'd simply drizzle bacon oil on top to make it edible/somewhat palatable!
Sorry Farley I don't know the answer

It's one of the few human foods that Wiggies will scrounge for.
