Good Morning! Can you believe it's August already. Where did the summer go?

DS decided to eat healthy this morning. He enjoyed a fruit cup, yogurt and toast. I am hoping he will be napping soon. He is teething once again so he is cranky. I can't wait for the next four teeth to come in.

Nothing exciting happening today. We got our new washer and dryer friday night so I can go back to laundry duties.

Morning all!

It overcast and humid today. Tried to work outside in flower beds and was consumed. I have off today so I will try later working outside. Nothing else exciting going on.

Have a good one.................

Morning all!

It's a holiday here (New Brunswick Day) but I still have to work. I only get American holidays off as my clients are American. I don't really mind though.

I have a ton of housework to catch up on this evening. No rest for the wicked.
Hope you all have a great day!

Morning!

Had some excitement over the weekend....we lost our well. Turns out it was a minor fix, but still, no water for well over a day. I still had to go to work today, so I took a quick sponge bath and washed my hair with bottled water. Cold bottled water. What a way to wake up! The plumber said that a wire in the well had arced and all they had to do was replace the wire. We have water again.
I keep tons of bottled water on hand in the basement b/c our cats only drink bottled water. DH makes fun of me for having so much water on hand, but we needed it yesterday and this morning.

Mollipop is at the vet this morning....she is getting spayed today. Her mom (that would be me) is having a very difficult time with this as Molli has to stay there overnight tonight; I can't bring her home until Tuesday afternoon, but I can call down early this afternoon to see how she is. I'm taking a vacation day on Wednesday to spend time with her on her first day home. I opted for laser surgery for her spay as it's supposed to be less painful and the recovery time is quicker. We'll be giving her pain meds, too, for a few days. Anything to help her is worth it.
She'll be six months old this coming Sunday! The people at her vet know her as she was born there and this morning they all said that she's growing into a very beautiful little girl. (I cried on the way home;
I already miss her!)

Enjoy your Monday....

Good morning!

Busy day here today, I'm babysitting my nephew who is 5 months old, so along with my DS who is 10 months, it's been a hectic house

I'm incredibly happy that they are both napping.. ahh, peace and quiet

It's rainy & gloomy here today so at least I don't feel guilty about not taking DS outside, which would be impossible with both of them!

I hope you all have a great day
