I think I need to find a way to market the demolition skills of my cats. Pat came home from work the other day, and asked how Quinn (the dog) managed to make such a huge mess... (They had just spilled the uno cards, and pulled a matrix-esque move on their cat tower... and Lucy was trying to eat cherries through a bag, and that wasn't pretty) I had to explain that oh no, Quinn was an angel- the Kittens were the destroyers!!
Since my family left wednesday, the kittens have been rather bored- instead of having three extra people to amuse them, they have only me...and apparently they don't like it! Yesterday was the worst. Their cat tower is one of those carpet covered ...tubes, with three holes up the front. They have taken to jumping to the top from the bottom, in a single bound. This causes the thing to rock a little bit. Well, yesterday Lennon did this, followed immediately by Ringo. This caused the tower to tip entirely. It, of course, fell over onto the water. Which broke open, spilling all over the place. Luckily, it wasn't close enough to hit the TV or Xbox- but it was close! All of this excitement woke the dog, who spent the next ten minutes growling and barking- as she thought someone HAD to be in the house- what else could make all that noise??
I think I need to invest in an interactive toy, lol.
