She seems to be doing better. Her breathing still sounds like crap but from what I can hear(putting my ear against her chest) her left lung seems to have cleared up but her right one is still rattling. Her nose still is clogged and makes her breathing worse I'm sure and there are times when she still has trouble breathing or wheezes that I can hear from across the room.

Her eye is still watery, better but still obviously not quite right, I'd be thinking about getting her a vet appointment if we weren't trying to clear it up. At this point I don't think it's ever going to clear up and that it's going to be like that for the rest of her life.

She seems to be more herself, but she's letting Nuts bully her again. Twice he's bit her because he wants to lay down where she's at. She had finally started to stand up for herself but there are still times even when she's 'well' that she just puts up with it. Yesterday he decided he wanted to be in the carrier and chomped on her and tried to crowd her out until she got out then he chased her around and then got ON TOP of the carrier and laid down. Keep in mind Attitude was inside the carrier not on top of it. He has done this in the past so he isn't picking on her or being mean to her because she's sick, like some animals do 'picking out the weak.' Mitzi said she had problems with Jazzy going for Dylan(they are both Schipperkes) when he was really sick with his liver. She put a prompt stop to that.

She is back to wanting attention all the time, spending time on Paul's lap. She doesn't want to take her medication, guess it tastes nasty. She is running around a little chasing Nuts and letting Nuts chase her. Last night she was on the footrest of the couch and Nuts was under her and she reached down and smacked him in the head.

She's still not totally herself but she is more like herself than not like herself and a lot better than she has been most of this week.

Hopefully she recovers and the vet is wrong about her overall prognosis. I know he is right is general and her life span being shorter than normal but hopefully it's not as soon as he thinks. I'm hoping this means she's not in the 50% that don't make it to 2, but she has 10 more months to make it to 2 and a lot can happen in that time.

I'm glad Attitude is feeling better! Holland hates taking medication too, too bad they can't make it flavored like they do with kids!

Wow, that statistic is really surprising to me...
I guess when you factor in all the unwanted & shelter animals it makes sense. Holland is 2 years old now, and I can't imagine not having her around for several years to come.

for Attitude to keep getting better!

Feline leukemia sucks. 50% don't make it to 1 of the 50% that survive 50% of them don't live to 2.

It drives me crazy that everyone else, 7 other cats, only Attitude ever gets sick. Everyone has leukemia but only Attitude ever gets sick. It's maddening. She seems a little better, still sounds like crap but will play with Nuts.
