Prowler is kind of high strung... (understatement) and afraid of anyone and everyone but MOI!

Last night, BF is listening to the radio and the cats are just kind of bumming around... when a commercial came on with a very realistic sounding door bell....

Prow froze! Glanced at the front door... and TOOK OFF RUNNING!!! ZOOOOMMMMMM!!!! Up the stairs. It took me a split second to figure out what happened. He thought someone was at the DOOR! For REAL!

Took a while and some freeze dried chicken to coax him back down.

When my cats lived inside, I turned on the Animal Channel for them. They would freak out when the shows came on showing the big cats, or ones with birds chirping.

The ringtone of my cellphone is a meowing cat. When the cell is out of my bag (or my reach) and there's an incoming text or call, my cats react like there's an unknown cat in the vicinity. They all look confused, they know it's nearby, they just can't smell or see it.

Awwwww, poor little Prowler!!

Holland can almost always tell the difference between the TV/radio and someone being in the room or "real life" sounds. But I have caught her several times with her ears perked and in a "ready to scurry outta here" pose when she hears a doorbell sound...
