Introductions in process...

So we've been slowing introducing a 14 week old male kitty to our 20 month our female (both fixed). We have Feliway diffusers and have kept the boy kitty in his own room. Tonight we let them "meet" each other. There hasn't been any hissing/spitting/swatting but they are charging each other then stopping very close to the other cat. No actual contact except some nose to nose sniffing. Then they chasing one another across the room. They will lay down near each other then they continue the charging, chasing etc.

On a side note, the male kitty sometimes make a growling noise when we play with him- is that normal? It's an odd sound and our female kitty doesn't make that noise.

Thanks.

Sounds like things are going well for you. Can't help with the growling noise, though.
