Pretty Pria

We'll be going into the shelter on Saturday to give them the paperwork to make her adoption final. I am SO incredibly in love with this little one... I was working from home today as I have a cold, but it is REALLY hard to use a laptop when she wouldn't leave my lap. She is so cuddly, mama's girl through and through. By the way, her full name is Pria Nermal Goji Nickerson-Hicks.

Every time I read about Pria, my heart swells . I'm just so thrilled that Dana decided to make her officially one of your own and that he loved you enough to go against his "no more of our own kitties" rule in order for you to be able to adopt her. She certainly sounds as though she's a mama's girl and, truth be told, it sounds like she's already got you wrapped around her petite little paws. But, I know, from reading your posts, that you wouldn't want it any other way.

Pria is just adorable. I love her markings, her personality, and, well, there's nothing about her that I don't like. She's a perfect kitty and, undoubtedly, the perfect addition to your home and life. I could just cry I'm so happy for you...

But, okay, one question: How in the world did you come up with the name Pria Nermal Goji Nickerson-Hicks? And, please tell me, do all of your other kitties have secret full names we don't know about ?

Pria was a character in a novel I read and I loved the name. Dana has been calling her Nermal from the beginning because he says she reminds him of Nermal from Garfield. Goji is kind of a long story...lol. I had a dream recently where I had a pet parrot named Goji and this parrot was my best friend in the dream. Well Pria like to sit on our shoulders like a parrot, hence Goji. Nickerson is Dana's last name and Hicks is mine. There you have it. No other secret full names!
