OK, so I have a 5YO niece, Hannah. Her birthday was in January, and as I have been unemployed for a while, I gave her a "sleepover at my house" for her last birthday. In the meantime, I have moved into my mom's house, as have my sister & BIL (Hannah's parents), and she has been bugging me to have that sleepover in my mom's basement, where my room is. Well, tonight is the night.
My Holland is a scaredy-cat by nature, and although she has been getting braver regarding my sister's 3 kids, she is still very wary of them. Hannah fell asleep a little while ago, and Holland just couldn't help herself:
"I'm not interested. I don't care what that new lump on my floor is..."

"What? That girl has a security blanket with fringes? I think I'll have to investigate..."

"OK. She seems safe now. Isn't this the one who's usually loud and likes to follow me around everywhere? What happened to her? Is she OK?!?"

I can't wait to show Hannah the photos tomorrow...
Editing to add a couple photos, because it's always nice to see faces...

Hannah is kind of having a rough time, because daddy took her older sister & brother camping this weekend and Hannah got left behind. She's the littlest in the family and she tends to get left out sometimes. But my mom, my sister and I are making sure she gets spoiled plenty this weekend. Last night, we watched Where The Wild Things Are and had popcorn and candy.
