Tough Crowd!! Um.. as to how to say her name, haha, well, it's like Jennifer but it's Genever. Kind of like saying Jennifer with a V instead of an F. Based on the Dutch liquor on which Gin is based actually, even though it's more often pronounced Ye-NEH-ver. Genever/Jenever is mainly found in The Netherlands and Belgium, and comes in many flavors, the juniper flavored one being Gin. I am much more of a (craft/micro)beer drinker, and I don't like gin, but I've had wonderful flavors of genever like violet and chocolate and cactus... such a neat experience.
You know it's funny, since having Genever, I find myself having a hard time saying the name JenniFer! My primary dr. is Jennifer Kim and shares a practice with another Dr. Kim, and I tend to say I need an appt with JenniVer Kim, then try to correct myself.
