hi so my cat is on day 64 or 65.. her appetite has gone since this morning and i think its getting close.. she isnt making any noise or doing anything wierd.. she is currently in her nesting area but has been in there every night for around a week so its not unusual for her to go in it..

her belly has been going from hard to sorf to hard again the last couple of days it is currently kinda hard and i can feel a kitten right down by her privates.. its the lowest i have ever felt before..

do u think it may happen tonight??

can anyone explain what happened to there cat the day she went into labour before the labour actually came on??

also she has black spots on her nipples is this normal?

Well, last litter I saw born was in 1987, but I recall a definite restlessness, which sounds like your case. I don't remember the dark nipples. Have the babies been born yet? Keep us posted!

Any babes?

When it is this close, just try to relax. Our cat Slick had her babies overnight. Cats are pretty good at having kittens. Just be available for her. Don't fuss too much. She knows what to do.

Keep your eye out, but don't be very intrusive.

Let us know what is happening.

It really depends on the cat...some cats are restless, some cats sop eating, some do neither. It sounds like your girl should be having them very soon. Just keep an eye on her, and watch for her water to break- that beans you have kittens in a couple hours at most!
