1. In Middle ages, people thought that cats had fangs and were venomous. People thought that they were the cause of all things bad; ranging from stale beer to sicknesses and diseases.
2. If you touch a cat's whiskers, it will squint the eye on that side. The whiskers act like little fingers, so that's a cat's natural instinct in order to protect the eye. But if a cat is overweight to the point where its sides stick out farther than it's whiskers, it will loose its sence of perception and stability.
3. Cats actually have self images. But whether it's good or bad depends on the owner. They will live up or down to the expectations.
4. Cats almost never meow at another cat. This sound is mainly for communication with humans.
