So, this is my sweet, dainty Alice. Why is she wrapped in a towel, you ask? A couple of minutes earlier, from a running start down the hallway, she swan-dove into the toilet as I was peeing in it.

What more is there to say.

Adorable!

Mollipop did that! About three weeks ago! She has this habit now of coming into the bathroom with me during the night. She sits on my lap.

Well, I put her on the litter box (it's a covered box), so that I could put the toilet seat down and flush. Just that quickly, she tried to jump on the rim....and she lost her balance. Splash! At 4:00 in the morning!

So there we were. I gave her a quick bath in the bathroom sink, using Dial soap as it's all we have. I rinsed her off very well, rubbed her down with a fluffy towel and brushed her out. She hollered a couple of times, but overall she was pretty good about it.

We went back to bed and she gave herself a good washing. She finally finished, gave a huge sigh, and curled up to nap after her trauma.

And the darn alarm clock rang for us to get up for work. I spent the whole day trying not to
.

Don't you love having a kitten in the house!

Oh, and yesterday morning? DH was taking a pee in the bathroom. Molli was sitting on the edge of the litterbox, watching very intently. DH called to me, "Pam? Pamela! Will you please get in here? Now?" He was afraid she'd do it again!

Ahahahahahaha!
Oh that's priceless!

I'm sure we'd have the same problem however our bathroom is off limits to kitties thanks to toilet paper shredders, shower curtain climbers and garbage diggers (just to get the Q-Tips).

Oh Alice, you silly girl. The bathroom is Holland's favorite room, but she's allowed unlimited access because she's NOT a TP shredder, and the closest she's come to going in the toilet is a curious "paws on the bowl, looking in" pose. She loves to get in the shower and lap up water after I get out. Like she doesn't have two bowls of perfectly fresh water to go to...

Alice, Alice, Alice!! Jumping in the potty is really not a good idea!

Hannah did that ONCE. Thankfully, the water was clean, but she learned her lesson!

Stinkpot has fallen in once, but, thankfully, right AFTER I flushed
. Now our toilet areas are off limits too, since we have a couple of TP shredders, and one (Stinkpot), who simply loves walking on the edge, so I don't trust what (or when) he might do something.

Haha! Mulder got his head peed on once when he was going through his 'facinated by water' phase... he stuck his head in the toilet while dad was peeing...

I have to admit, I definitely laughed out loud at this one. In fact, my dog woke up and popped out of the blankets and looked at me quite strangely when she heard me giggling
.

Oh, Alice, you silly girl! Toilet bowls are not playgrounds! Well, okay, maybe they are, but, between you and me, they're probably more pleasant when they're not in use and have been flushed
.

The bathroom is off limits to my crew. While I think my girls are too dainty and, let's face it, too lazy, to try to take a running leap into the toilet, my 10 month old kit, Finn, would be falling in every chance he'd get. He's just like that, you know
?

I'd definitely say it was bath time after that. And, while that not be as fun as a trip into the toilet bowl, it was a whole lot cleaner. Plus, she got a bonus towel snuggle. Must love kittens, eh
?
