Steve - Orange Overload

I haven't posted many pics of Steve recently and I know there are orange lovers out there. I never understood the attraction to orange cats until I had to adopt and went to see Steve. Love at first sight and now I'm under the orange spell!

He was being good to the camera for once. Usually, when I go to take a pic he runs to me and sticks to my legs. Not exactly the best angle for a pic. He's my shadow - always following me and wanting attention.

This time, he stayed in the cat tree and posed.

Finally, a perfect pic of his eye colour - all natural -

I'm on that orange-lover list! With my two red and white tabbies, Cassidy and Finnegan, I have a 2:4 ratio of orange kitties in my house. And, I too never saw the attraction to orange kitties...until I adopted one...and then another...

Steve is absolutely spectacular! He is both gorgeous and stunning. And, his fur is to die for! I wish I could reach through my computer screen and pet his thick, plush fur. And, those eyes! They are positively beautiful! Between the cat and the photographer, I'm speechless. I guess there's only one thing to say: Wow, just wow .

Thank you for sharing Steve's photos with us. He's an amazing cat and your pictures are terrific as well. Oh, and one last thing, that last pic of him reminds me so much of the way my Cassidy lounges on her cat tree. You can see her picture on my cat page -- she's the first one next to my name.

Actually, he never used the tree when it was against the wall in the corner. We had to pull it away from the wall to add some baseboards and now he's in it all the time. It's funny, since that's Gigi's area and she hasn't been too happy with Steve's sudden interest in the tree.

Thanks! Yep, Steve is full of fur! I can't keep up with the cleaning when he starts to shed. He just has to walk and he sheds.


The sunroom had the perfect light this evening so I took a few more pics.

I think I might have just died and gone to heaven...
...could Steve and Gigi be any more beautiful?!

First off, kudos to the photographer. Those pictures are just absolutely breathtaking. And, secondly, those cats are stunning. Steve's eyes have to be the most gorgeous eyes I have ever seen on a cat. And, Gigi's are lovely as well. But, then again, all of Gigi is lovely . But, it's really Steve who has stolen my heart. He really is an incredibly photogenic and handsome cat. I love red tabbies and he is just a prime example of the reason why -- I can't say enough about him. Really.

Thank you again for sharing pics of Steve (and Gigi). They're amazing...

Um...Miss Sabina requests that Steve be sent to her immediately! I of course have nothing to do with it, but Sabina is very much insisting that Steve come to live with us. Yep. All her.

Just think how pretty they would be together!

Holy moly!! I'm gasping at your pictures!! They're beautiful! Steve is stunning - what a handsome devil. His eyes are incredible, and he looks so huggable. I want to take that furry face and give it a big kiss!

Oh my lord, those eyes!! He is drop-dead *gorgeous*. And that Gigi is stunning as well!

I have to add my agreement to what others have already noted - you are an amazing photographer! Good equipment is a bonus, but it takes a good eye to really capture them that perfectly. Not to mention the patience to wait until they decide to cooperate...
