Just wanted to request some vibes for a very young mama cat (gray tabby) and her kitten (black, maybe 4-5 weeks old). Found out that someone in the neighborhood where my feral colony is located has been feeding them. Mama is friendly, just a little scared, and has apparently bringing her kitten (the only one we know of) around to eat a couple of times a day. My colony is across town from where I live, so I'm really relying on the neighbors to keep a look out for the mama and little one. I left a cat carrier with them and told them to call me ASAP if they get ahold of them. Not ready to consider trapping yet, especially since kitten is still so young and would like to get them both at the same time. Please send vibes we can get mama and baby to safety soon. Thanks!

Still no sign of the mama cat and kitten. Please send major vibes they come back and we can get ahold of them. We have vet care and a foster home lined up for them. Thanks!

The neighbors haven't seen them since last weekend. They could still be coming to eat when no one's around, but I'm beginning to think we missed the opportunity to help this mother and baby. There's an empty house in foreclosure next door to where they were last seen, so I'm wondering if they could have taken up shelter there through a broken basement window. Am working with the realtor on getting access inside the house to see if there's any sign of them.

Please keep the vibes coming.

Eileen, I'm so sorry, sweetie. Sometimes the timing just doesn't work out the way we want it to.

the realtor will help.

...and they're there, and sneaking to eat when no one sees them. I'm sure that if they're around to be trapped, you'll find a way.
