Happy Gotcha Day my princess!
A yr ago today, Neko was in a little cage meowing at me and pawing through the bars to get my attention. “Pick me, hey you there, pet me, over here!” She was the last of her siblings to be adopted. Adopting Neko wasn’t planned but I saw her face, her beautiful colors, and the uniqueness of her character. All the attention was on, previously named, Raspberry. Called the bf and said I needed her! Please, please, please!
I was totally unprepared for a kitty. In fact, I never owned a kitty! The head of the rescue group helped me out though and gave me a tour of the kitty section at petco (which is where the adoption was held). Showed me the must have items I would need now and other items I could pick up later.
So off me and Neko went, back to my work place (I told you this wasn’t planned. I was on my lunch break .). The coworkers loved her!! One yr later and I’m still telling stories about this crazy little tortie I have.
