Happy birthday Smudgie!

A year ago today, you were scaring the crap out of me because Loudmouth was too tired from a long labor to push you out! But you did come, eventually, and I'm so happy to have you!

Your Mom has found a new home, but you're still here with me and your two older siblings. You love Cuddles more everyday and even Prissy is beginning to like you as you become less nervous.

Here's to my Smudgie, all 14 lbs of big, heavily muscled boy cat.

Smudge did have a pretty good birthday. He even crept up in DH's lap and got some attention.

Smudge and Ginger played tag most of the day, running all over the house and using the growing stack of boxes as their own personal Mountain. I am definitely going to build a huge cat tree when we buy our new place.

He got some extra love and attention from me yesterday, but didn't seem to understand WHY we kept MESSING with him.
He's still so very shy and nervous all the time. I am kind of afraid of what the move is going to do. But there's nothing to be done about that.

But yes, I officially have NO MORE KITTENS now. It's sad but kind of nice at the same time. I've got one old cat, two adults, and one young adult now. At least they all get along, even if Smudge is a little neurotic.
