Morning everyone!!!

It so far is kinda chilly here today but I guess its supposed to be nice. PAY DAY! Woohoo, I get to go pick up BFs check since he is working on the strip and not in the shop. Gotta pay our fines and the Snap-On guy on Monday but thats ok cuz tomorrow morning we gotta get up at 530 (like usual) but actually stay awake and head out of town to get breakfast, get my large iced turbo from DD and then help lay cement for his brothers garage he is building. After all that UGH gotta see one of the step siblings, I seriously cant stand that side of his 'family' but Ill put on my fake happy face for him!

Signing off for the weekend!!

Have a great couple of days and see you all Monday!!!

Hi all
just had some dinner with my youngest kids, we wnt to the chippy. Its just a normal day here, not cold, not hot, just ok and touch wood not raining yet. I've got lots of cleaning to do this afternoon as I am feeling so much better today, think my flu is finally clearing up which I am glad about but not glad about all the cleaning I have got to catch up on, I am happy though as hubby and I are going out with the couple next door tomorrow night and I cannot wait. We're having an indian meal and then just going to a few pubs afterwards, hopefully I acn taste things a bit better tomorrow.
I went to the doctors yesterday and now have been dianosed with an underactive thyroid after my part thyroidectomy in April, so now with my thyroxine tablets aswell I should feel on top of the world soon
And the kids break up today from school for the 6 week summer hols, I am glad as I need a rest, I walk to schol and back 6 times a day and I have lots of fun things planned for us all to do.xx

Morning all!

Beautiful day here today!
I'm working from home because my foster cat, Lucy, had her kittens throughout the night and I want to be able to keep an eye on them

This evening we'll be taking Azizi to get the stitches out from his tail!
So glad that whole ordeal will be done and over with. Then tonight we'll probably be heading next door to play some games and have a few drinks with my aunt and uncle.

Have a great friday everyone!

Morning!

My doctor released me to go back to work, with restrictions. No kneeling, squatting, extended walking, or bending for the next two weeks. That means that I can't do stormwater inspections for awhile....largely because of the uneven ground when facilities are built in mountainous areas or on large farms with a lot of large rocks and ditches. I talked to my director this morning; he'll take my papers to the "powers-that-be" at work and they'll decide whether to accept the restrictions. If they do, I can go back to work on Monday morning. If not, I'll be home for another two weeks. (I'd kinda like to stay home for awhile; now that I can move around better, there are some things I'd like to get done. Plus I can spend afternoons in the pool when it's hot outside! And I get to spend more time with the cats, always a good thing too. But I will see what happens.)

Not too much going on this weekend. DH has been putting in some OT, so he's been a little pooped. Getting up at 4:00 in the morning all week is tiring. I don't think we'll be doing much at all. And that's good. My sister and BIL mentioned coming here for grilled pizza on Saturday night....if I make the dough and the sauce, she'll bring the toppings. Works for me. Then we'll sit by the pool after it gets dark and watch the fountains. Very relaxing.

Have a good Friday....

At the kitty's beck and call
Well, it's the end of the first week of my leave from work (another one and a half weeks to go) and I'm exhausted
I didn't know time off could be so tiring.

Monday, I started sorting out all our boxes of stored stuff in the garage and then we took daughter to the airport (she was going off on holiday).

Tuesday off shopping in the city for hubby's clothes for our vow renewal. Wednesday had parents over for lunch and the afternoon to discuss the ceremony. Thursday walked into town to pick up our new bicycles and got soaked riding them home in a rain storm

Today, cycled into town to the hairdressers then back home and then off to the next village to meet the Minister to discuss the ceremony and home again.

Tomorrow is my SIL's 50th birthday party and Sunday we're off to lunch with my Mum and Dad for my Dad's birthday - phew!

Right here! :)
Oh, the dayly threads!

Today I am preparing to go camping, to my favorite place in the world, well one of my most favorite places anyway. I will post photos when I get back!
The weather over there is great now and is supposed to stay great the next days, so I will be great. (It is still great when it rains, but of course better when it's sunny).

Good morning! Yesterday was just lovely out. DS and I took a walk to the shops. I was a bit tired after but he sure wasn't.

It's very cloudy today and not as much wind as yesterday. Not sure if we will venture for a walk. My allergies are bothering me too.

The kitties have been begging all morning. They seem to be taking turns too.
DS is napping but will be up soon. I enjoyed the morning surfing the web.

Can't wait for the weekend. This week just dragged. We have to run some errands tonight. Tomorrow is going to be over 100 so we plan on staying inside. We had a family party but we aren't going since it's mostly outside.

Have a great weekend.

Well, I have a lunch date with my main squeeze, Robert. This will be our 7th date. He has to dog sit the rest of this weekend so I don't know if we will be doing anything else.

Will probably hang out at the pool tonight if I am not at Robert's.

Good afternoon

Didn't have the greatest day at work - someone there must have something against me lately. I've been bringing my laptop in since February to listen to Pandora on it, and now suddenly there is a problem with me having it
Received an email I'm no longer allowed to bring it in for any reason blah blah. Same week after someone complained I parked my car out front because I didn't want it damaged in the rocky rear lot. Immature

Relaxing now, so glad it is the weekend. Plans to go to the gun range and shoot some for the first time in awhile with some friends tomorrow, then go to a local meet up. Sunday we'll head to the drag strip. I'm just ready to sleep in and not worry about work aggravation!

Afternoon all!!

Worked today from about 7:30 till 2. Then zoomed home, changed and stuffed the bike in the car trunk as I had to drop it off for a brake/rotar job. Rode my bike home.
Its about 85F which is warm for us and very humid due to all the rains. Just bumming right now.

Have to cover work tomorrow from 6 till noon and I was hoping to work at a client but it (surprise) may be raining!

Sunday is local "Art in the Park". Its finally supposed to be good weather so I may garden at home as well.
