Oh I have one that does from time to time. I know it's one of them because when it's just me and them, and I smell it, I know it's one of them. I didn't do it, so it has to be one of them lol

I can't say it's very common with my gang but it does happen occasionally. Sometimes I've lifted a cat in a certain way that causes them to release a Silent But Deadly.

I do. Moo does sometimes. But when he was a kitten he had gas so badly his nickname was stinky!

Very, very rare.

One time Osiris was on my lap for some loving and Dana decided to play with him. He went to hug him, gave a big squeeze, and we heard "pfffftttt"! I looked at Dana, he looked at me and we just about DIED laughing. He squeezed the fart right out of Osiris!

Also, our very first foster cat was rotten to the core. That cat could clear a room, seriously. Silent, but INCREDIBLY deadly.

All animals pass gas. It's a natural thing. You just weren't around when your cats did.

I haven't witnessed Abby passing gas, but Chynna was a real cuddle bug and always on top of me, so I know she definitely passed gas from time to time. It didn't smell though.

Yep and it's not the most pleasant of smells x

Bella will let loose sometimes--only when I have company over. I think she does it on purpose.

Smudge certainly passes gas from time to time, and it is HORRIBLE! Especially after roast beef from an Arby's roast beef sandwich! He reached through the bars of their kennel in the back seat of the car during a trip, and snagged HALF the beef out of my sandwich. The then 3 and 1/2 month old Smudgey cat began growling fiercely while he nommed his prize. The gas from this incident cleared the ENTIRE FLOOR of the house he was staying at for the trip.

Cuddles passes gas pretty badly too, some seriously SBDs. He only seems to do it when he's laying on top of me. But then again, he's ALWAYS laying on top of me.

I've never noticed Prissy passing gas in the decade or so she's been with me, so I think she must do it in private. It would fit her picky, proper purrsonality to a T.

Da Magpie can be a stinky girl and she seems to pick her times, like cold winter nights when she crawls under the blankets and lets one go close to my face. EEEEEWWWW *GAG*

My cat does it quite freqently, always when his back end is near my face....think he's trying to tell me something?!?!

Cammy does. I've never heard it, but I've smelled it. It's usually when her tummy is bothering her.

We all have cats that pass gas, at least when we wish to pass the blame!
