I love Mollipop! Since I've been off work for a couple of weeks, I've certainly enjoyed spending time with the furkids and being with Molli. We've started to establish a routine.

I get up in the morning around 6:30 and Mollipop is lying next to me in bed under the covers. We go over to the bathroom, so I can grab a quick shower. Molli has decided that I cannot shower by myself; the other morning, I heard a noise, looked behind me in the shower and there she was, sitting on the edge of the tub and peeking around the shower curtain! She looked adorable! I'm careful that I don't get her wet at all. Towel off and she starts biting my lower legs; there must be something in Dial soap....all of our cats love the scent of Dial.

As I'm brushing my teeth, she sits in the sink and watches me very carefully. I now have to walk out to the kitchen to rinse my mouth out b/c she won't get out of the bathroom sink. (Did you ever try to floss your teeth while a kitty is trying to catch the floss?!
) As I'm combing my hair, getting ready to dry it, she sits in the sink and watches every move. Finally, right before I get the hair dryer out, I pick her up and carry her over to the bedroom to the catnapper in one of the windows. (She doesn't like the sound of the dryer and I don't want to scare her.)

After I'm finished, I'll walk over to the bedroom and finish dressing; since I've been home, it's just a pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt. But she comes over and jumps on the bed to su-purr-vise. Then I pick her up and we walk out to the kitchen to start our day.

Have I mentioned that I love this girl?

Oh, that's so sweet!!! What a sweet girl.....she wants to make sure she keeps an eye on Meowmy - just so she can help if needed.

Aww, Mollipop couldn't possibly be any sweeter...

Molli seems as though she really adores you. And, of course, you appear to be positively smitten with her. It's so sweet that the pair of you have a morning routine and that Mollipop has injected herself into that routine in order to keep an eye on her meowmy. How precious is it that she has to watch your every move to ensure that she's there to help if need be?! It's just as though you two were meant to be!

I remember when you first "found" Molli at the pet store (maybe PetSmart?) and knew you had to bring her home. I've loved hearing her stories and seeing her pictures ever since. She's a doll -- thank you for sharing her with us all!

We found Miss Pop at the vet when we took one of our other cats down for a check-up. She pretty much told me that I was hers! She just sat in my arms that first time and stared at me. Then she climbed up my shirt, perched on my neck and bit my ear. And the rest is history.

Aww, I just read this thread and the drywall thread... Miss Mollipop (or shall we say MolliStop?
) sounds like such a character! Happily adapted to her forever home and quickly becoming a creature of routine.
