I finally got hubby to sit down and discuss this cat situation. He finally opend up and got honest with me about his feelings which is HUGE!!! Basically he said he loves them so much and is afraid of them not getting good homes and he said he did not want the spca lady to take them all, he said he wants them to go one at a time so it is easier on him.
So 2 of the kittens are not sick at all so I posted them on craigslist. 10 minutes later this couple called, they came over. what a sweet couple!! they were wonderful! They fell in love with my favorite girl. The husband had her mezmorized petting and holding her and they were both squeeling. We felt soooo good about them. We all hugged and they left with her.
Funny we are not crying because we know she is going to the best possible house there could be! And hubby is being so sweet today. I feel like pinching myself! I havent had this good a day in over a year!
So guys, dont you all worry, we are gonna "geter done" LOL
One down 3 to go. Craigslist is awsome!

There's no place like home
I am very happy to hear you are having a break through with your husband's fears.

If you use Craigslist, please do not post them as "free to a good home". Ask $25 for them and say it is to cover any care that you've provided to them up to this point. I say this for 2 reasons:

1) There are people who adopt animals like this then sell them to laboratories. I've heard they seem like good people. Don't take this risk.

2) If someone is serious about adopting, a token $25 fee will not deter them. Those that are adopting on a whim may respond. In fact, if they come by and you feel really good about them, waive the fee.

Ditto! Excellent advice!! I'd like to say that if he loves them so much then he must be more dilligent in providing vet care, BUT I'm not harping on anything. I'm just happy you're happy. Answered Prayers
