We have a baby bunny that's been on the front lawn of the building where I work. He lived in the rose bushes and I'd see him a few times a week in the morning or after work eating the grass.

I'd talk to him and say hi and he would not run when he saw me.

Today, I'm coming into work and walked up the other steps and here my little bunny friend is laying on the sidewalk dead
There is no marks on him and looks like he might have died last night. I think the grounds keeper for the building must have sprayed the grass yesterday and it poisoned the little bunny.

Poor little one.

Honestly, why are people so paranoid about a few weeds.

I am so sorry for the loss of your little friend. You are a good person to take the time to write this for a poor little bunny.'

Eat safely over the Bridge, little one. There are no nasty chemicals there.

That's horrible. I have a bunny that hangs out around my house. He's so funny because the last time he saw me he just froze with a plant sticking right out of the front of his mouth. GUILTY!!

Some people don't want them in their gardens. I think he's better than any plant. I'm going to put in some lettuce for him.

Poor baby bunny! That's so sad!

@ Dave PH -- I've raised bunnies all my life for show, pets and meat -- winter rye or alfalfa are a bit better than lettuce if you want to try growing something. Even some oatgrass works well. If you have access to chicken feed grain, (commonly called "scratch") just loosen a patch of dirt, lightly fold in the chicken feed, and water lightly -- you'll have tender yummy bunny grass within a week. Birdseed also works.
