Morning folks!

A sunny and warm day again today. I must shave my legs so I can wear capris to work. I love this weather!

DH and I are going to the raceway/slots tonight because we have free $10 vouchers and we are going to have dinner there as well.

Getting a mani/pedi tomorrow with my perfectionist esthetician friend, so excited. It will be my last pedi for the summer because hers last that long!

Morning!

I have red beans and rice simmering in the crock pot for dinner tonight. Haven't decided if I want to make some cornbread or my onion sesame bread to go with it. I have to take some into work tonight and put it in my fridge for my co-worker for his lunch tomorrow; he's been taking care of my plants while I'm off work, so this is a way that I can re-pay him for his kindness. Everybody tells me that he's doing a super job with my plants. I owe him.

Another warm and humid day is on its way. It's not even cool in the morning. We were supposed to get some showers last night, but never got a drop. Our poor tomato plants. Guess we'll have to water tonight.

Good morning everyone...Im procrastinating getting around for the day...Ive got a hair appt at 11 with BFs hair dresser guy. Im nervous cuz I hate getting my hair cut cuz for some reason people feel the need to ignore me and just go crazy!! BF has reassured me that this guy will do a good job otherwise he wouldnt have let him cut his hair for 5+ yrs....Ughhhhh make the nerves go away...but if he does a good job I get highlights next month which makes me excited cuz I stopped dying my hair last year and I want highlights really bad!

Anyhoooooooooo got some coupons from Purina so off to Petsmart tonight to get dog and cat food.....The kitties need their Purina Indoor to mix with their TOTW...yum yum yum...(not really cuz I think pet food stinks lol)

Good morning

Just got to work a few minutes ago, ate my Dunkin Donuts bagel, and time to start the day....well after procrastinating on a few sites

Going to be another hot one today, ~95ºF with a heat index of ~105ºF. Want to try and head to the beach, it's been awhile! My point was to get an awesome tan by the time the car got here, and I had a pretty one, then the day the car arrived I started peeling because I'd been neglecting the beach!

Wish I were still cuddled in bed with my kitties, even if Nero is mad at me for giving him ear drops this morning.

Good morning! I'm dreading calling my mom's physician in a few minutes. I just don't like the man. He wants to tell me the result of her abdominal ultrasound (she has an abdominal aneurysm) and Mom says he wants to send her to a vascular surgeon in a neighboring town who I also don't care for. I'm thinking this could get ugly. Wish me luck....

The rest of the day I will work on getting my blood pressure back down, lol! I think I'm going to go do some retail therapy. Nothing like a little shopping excursion to put me in a better mood. Today is my sister's birthday. Gotta give her a call this afternoon and wish her a HBD...too bad she's in San Diego. It would be fun to go out to dinner.

Morning all!

I am SO tired! We had some CRAZY thunder storms here last night. Literally our whole house shook it was so bad, so needless to say I didn't get much sleep.

I love them though, just not when I'm trying to sleep lol.

I'm probably going to have to go to the shelter after work.

One of our fosters, Angel Marie, has 1 remaining kitten from a litter of 5. The other 4 have died from URI's from birth. Now she has completely rejected the 5th and we are looking for a surrogate for her as she refuses to nurse from a bottle.

Then later this evening we'll be going over to my Mom's for supper. She is making one of my favorite meals, fresh peas, beans, baby new potatoes with canned milk and butter, mmmmmmmmm...

well another lazy day for me, its getting really boring, i need more hours at work or another job

blaine is off from tomorrow for a few days so im going to phone the vet this afternoon see if i can get the kids in for a check over

Good Morning. I think we finally got all the trash and recycling outside. I don't know how we collect so much trash.

Another hot week. I can't wait till we can open the windows again.

Time to relax before DS wakes.

You lucky dog........track is too far away just to pop over for a meal!!!LO What track? Want I should handicap for you???

Not very exciting here, just waiting for the next cloud to roll over and rain. It just won't stop.

It is extremely hot and humid here today. I spent about 2 hours cutting away trees and vines from our fence so that someone else can remove the fence and haul it off. Then got too hot so went back inside to do what I started out to do today: paint the ceilings in 3 bedrooms, 3 closets, 2 bathrooms and our hallway. I just got one bedroom, one closet and 1/2 of the hallway done and am resting my poor tired arms for a bit before I jump back into it. I think I'm going to quit for the day after the next bedroom and the rest of the hallway.

My house is a complete mess - all of the rooms where I'm painting are empty with the contents strewn all over the rest of the house.

Tonight I'm going to go back outside and tackle the fence line again. We have about 250 yards of fencing to remove and about 1/2 of it has trees/vines growing through it. Then I'm going to hop in the pool.

My arms are getting very strong......

Good afernoon...

Another busy day today, with school and house stuff. I am so happy to be learning Quickbooks a little bit in my Accounting class. It will be useful for jobs hopefully. And because I finished my QB project today, I don't have to go to class tomorrow! I still might though, because we have a test on Thursday. I'll see how I feel after some studying this evening.

So today I brought over a few more things to the house, including a Welcome mat I bought at Kmart on clearance for $10, and I met our next-door neighbor to the right, a retired widow living on her own with her dog. She seemed really nice and welcoming, so that's a good sign. I can't wait to move and be there for good!!! Soon!

Tonight I'm going to make spaghetti and meatballs for dinner, or rather linguini and meatless balls (soy).

I just have a jar of sauce, but I'm going to add carrots, broccoli, mushrooms, scallions, and fresh basil to it. And I got a fresh baguette. Yum!
