Our cat BK's favorite room was the laundry room. Sliding glass door to view outside, clean clothes to sleep on in the laundry basket (he will not sleep on dirty clothes). Then about 3 weeks ago I took the outside feral female, Scrappy to be spayed. She needed a quiet, undistrubed place for 48 hours and the only room was the Laundry room. Was BK mad
, he was. The entrance are two french doors with windows to the floor and you only have to push to open the doors. I fixed the doors so BK could not open them, but he kept trying and when he could not get in he would sit and look at her. She only stayed in there for 48 hours and since she has left, He will not go in there
. I have sprayed it with freebreeze, took him in (he ran out) What else can I do?

Not much, wait for her smell combined with the smell of the vet and the stress smell to dissapate. Clean with vinegar and water will help, then open the doors and let the room air dry. He is not mad, cats generally don't get mad. He is avoiding the smells he can pick up in there. It is also possible she peed in a corner somewhere and you haven't found it yet.

Thank you for spaying a feral-
