Preventive Health regulations

There will be new health insurance regulations coming into effect in September that will require private insurers to cover certain preventive health care procedures at no additional cost to those insured. Only those policies "grandfathered" will not be required to do so.

It's about time that type of thing was covered, but it's a shame only new policies are required to do so.

Well, here's the little secret.

While a lot of policies already cover these things, this is an effort to force all the companies to write new policies. You like the policy you have? Too bad...it's being dropped and replaced with a new policy that meets the government requirements, at a higher price.
