That's it - when in Target, I about died this week.

Kitty Crack....a.k.a. Fancy Feast, has now officially catered to those "snobby" cats who only deem themselves worthy of canned food in gravy.

Fancy Feast Gravy Lover's Entrees!

Twitch, my "food connoisseur" (also know is a "food snob") gives this 4 paws up! She was inhaling it as fast as kitty-ly possibly, and even pushed Lily out of her plate.

FF is a staple in my household wet food rotation, & I was very thrilled to find they make cans with more gravy (IMO, these cans have more gravy than their marinated morsels or minced kind). They were getting bored with the other cans they were getting all the time, it's nice to have something to add into the rotation.

I know it's not the highest quality, & can be expensive. But I also know we've had many threads by meowmies & purr-paws looking for canned food in gravy, so thought I'd start one of FF's new cans.

Can anyone find how many calories are in each can? My mom's old cats would LOVE a heavy-on-the-gravy food but they only eat about a can and a half each every day. So if it's lower in calories than the regular FF they probably shouldn't have it. They're skinny enough already.

in general gravy cans have a few more calories but realize they are all carb calories

Maybe we'll be luckier this time? I know i emailed them about cat chow naturals and they said no intent at this time either
annoying how we get so little in way of choice.

Thanks for the tip! My Lily is a gravy freak - she pretty much licks the gravy out of her Friskies prime filets (bad stuff, I know) and leaves the filets for my other two. I tried to get her to eat the Wellness and Avoderm Jack lives on, but she just wants her gravy and Kirklands. Oh well, she's a happy kitty.

Oh I know the feeling.
If you're looking for higher quality with gravy, try Petco's brand Soulistic (sp?) - "green can" - Good Karma. It's shredded a bit more fine than Friskies, but has plenty of gravy & my gravy freak loves it!
