My boys went to the vet yesterday for their last shots and rabies and such until next year. I thought I would share pictures from when I first got them at 5 weeks, compared to how they look now. It is amazing how much they have grown. Even Lucy doubled in weight in just the last month. So, here we go!
First Lucy, since she is the smallest. She was .2 pounds when I got her. She is still the smallest at 3.2 pounds now, at about 4 months. She looks chunkiest, but is the lightest.
That is Lucy when I got her, she was a tiiiiiiny, itty bitty girl.
She really is a cutie, and has progressed wonderfully. Even the vet worried that she might have been oxygen deprived at some point. Even now, she is behind the boys in every developmental step. The vet wonders if perhaps she was born at the same time, but was ah.. created later then the others. Who knows!
And Lennon. He was .4pounds when I got him. He was a quiet little guy, and was honestly my least favorite at first. Now, he is my cuddle love, and an utter sweet heart.
There he is tiny, oh so fuzzy!
During his "Wadda ya mean I'm not a parrot??" phase. Thankfully, he out grew that!
Present day, he is now 4.2 pounds. He is curious, adventurous, and everything a person could want in a kitten! I love my Lennon baby.
Finally, Ringo. He was .6 pounds when I got him, and at 4.6 pounds, he is still the biggest of the kittens. He looks bigger, and even his face looks serious and un-kittenlike. Yet, he has to suckle on my robe, and ears. He is a big baby despite his appearance, and I love him to bits!
Here he is as a tiny kitten
Even then, you can tell how much bigger he was.
He was the first to do everything- including washing his own little paws.
Now he is my cuddle bug, and I don't know what to do with out him!
It really is sad when I think about it. If I hadn't agreed to take these babies in, Lennon and Lucy would be dead. Ringo would be a feral kitten like his other sister, and would have a horrible life. It just breaks my heart that their other sister is out there somewhere still, living that life. I wanted to share though, how much my babies have progressed. The vet is shocked at how well they have come along, compared to how they were. I'm just glad I could do good for them, and give them what they deserve- a loving home!
