My new foster, Theodore.

Thread Starter
I have included some pics of the stray that decided to head-butt the right person this evening. It looks like my roommate is going to adopt him and I am so thankful! She has a senior cat named Orion an a 2 year old kitty named Fletcher. And, since Orion is not doing well and is not expected to live much longer (he may need to be put to sleep by the end of the summer, if not sooner, due to cancer), Fletcher may be in need of a companion. And, as of now, the thought is that this little guy is it. He's really a remarkable kitty and, if interested, you are welcome to read more about his story here: http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=218607.

So, without further ado, here is Theodore (Theo):

His first minutes inside the house.

Already bossing me around at meal-time!

Satisfied after his first meal in God-knows-when.

I caught him yawning in this pic!

Sitting pretty (erm, handsome?) and acting cool. He's so cute!

And, finally, falling asleep while sitting up.

Theo is a precious boy. Both my roommate and I have already fallen in love with the little guy. I'm estimating his age at about 10 months or so, but it's hard to tell since he's very underweight. He's doing well so far and has settled in for the night on the porch, but we're hoping to get him to the vet tomorrow so he can come inside and then be quarantined in my roommate's master bath. But, we'll see. Either way, he's safer inside than he was outside and I stand by my assumption that he was dumped. He's just way too friendly. And, he shows no fear of humans. I'm thankful he found us this evening and that my roommate agreed to allow him inside. I may be biased, but I think little Theodore is going to be a special kitty indeed.

Oh, one last thing, I apologize for the poor quality of the pics and for the way the porch looks. It hasn't been updated yet (that's coming this fall) and is not as neat and tidy as I'd like it to be. And, the lighting wasn't that great. But, I'll shut up now and let you all just sit back and enjoy the pics of my new foster, Theo.
