Vibes for Katie - dental cleaning

Just wanted to request some vibes for Katie today. I'll be dropping her off at the vet in a couple of hours for a dental cleaning and possibly a couple extractions. Katie's always been healthy, except for a few dental issues, and we've been keeping an eye on her teeth and gums for the past couple of years. She had a blood panel a couple of weeks ago and, aside from a slightly elevated BUN level, everything looks good. Our vet feels it's time to do this while Katie is still healthy and I agree. She also wants Katie there early so they can get her started on IV fluids before the procedure, a good precaution considering her age, 17, and elevated BUN.

Please think of my sweet girl today. It's going to be very stressful for her (and me!). She's currently sitting on the cat tree hollering at me because she hasn't been fed.

Thanks.

I love our sweetie's fresh breath after their dentals.
Katie will be in my thoughts until she is back home and on her way to a complete and easy recovery.

We're home now and I've got Katie in the spare room (good thing there's no kittens in here) per our vet till tomorrow morning. She's a little wobbly, but seems fine otherwise. In typical Katie fashion she's being very demanding and jumped up on my lap to try stealing some tortilla chips. That's my girl!

Oh yea!! So glad everything went well and she didn't need an extraction. Sounds like she's already feeling better!

Awww, thanks. She seemed fine this morning, eating and drinking with no problem. I wish I could have stayed home with her today and just hold her, which she seemed to want.
