Ok feline lovers, be honest and tell me who's tried cat food and tell us what it tastes like!

Of all the kibble i've tried, Felidae has to be the most palettable. Royal Canine was probably the worst.

Suraya, I am a little worried about you.
Your comment makes me think you have tried a bunch of kibble.
You must really love your cats to try their food. I just can't bring myself to try it.

I only had a nibble!
: One piece of kibble each time. But the taste is really strong so one little bite is enuff to give you a pretty good idea of what it tastes like. But i stand by what i said: Felidae is still the best.

I voted yes, although I haven't had cat food, I've tried dog food...

When I was in high school, I worked at a vet's office. Often, we had to feed the dogs Science Diet K/D (as I remember). It was mainly boiled chicken and rice. One afternoon, a couple of the vet techs and the kennel staff were talking about the food, and someone mentioned that the Canine K/D smelled really good. We all agreed to have a taste...It tasted like boiled chicken and rice, and that's about it. We all satisfied our curiosity about the food and to this day, I've never tasted another bite of pet food.

It's so weird how there's a big stigma about pet food. I mean, it's still food...
just food for pets.

I haven't tried kibble, but I have tasted canned cat food. I was wondering why our cat would eat a certain brand out of a small can, but not out of a larger one, although the producer claimed that the contents were exactly the same. I couldn't taste any difference, but was later told by someone in the production end of the pet food business that the food was heated after canning, and that the little cans were heated for a shorter period of time and at a lower temperature, so that in his opinion there was definitely a difference in quality and taste.
Right now I'm feeding a canned food that is 75% meat and/or fish, 24% spring water, and 1% rice. I was wondering if it was really worth the price, and had a few nibbles of various flavors. It really tasted good.

I tried the dry cat food once on a dare, and I didn't think it had much of a flavor. It was Purina Cat Chow. However, I LOVE the smell of the canned cat food. I haven't tried it, but often times it smells so good, I would like to try it.

Those Beggin Strips, smell pretty tastey too. I haven't tried them, but my little dog loves them.
