and how much more can Attitude's eye take.

She's near the end of her antibiotics and her eye still isn't better and if I forget to give her her eye drops it looks like I haven't treated her at all, but the second I get the drops in within a few hours her eye is back to 'normal'(well messed up but normal for her with her eye messed up.)

Her eye has always been like this, it's like a never ending eye infection.

She also now is having bloody noses on the side of her bad eye, the other side is fine.

She has a vet appointment at 9:45 tomorrow, the soonest they can get her in so she is going to the vet, again, the 3rd or 4th visit for THIS infection that has been going on for over a month.

What is wrong with her? The bloody nose on one side of her nose is bothering me. I pick out bloody boogers everyday and they return by the next day.

She is FeLV positive, and lysine did nothing but cost me money.

Anyone have an ideas?

I took a picture of her nose, it looks really bad.

I'm not choking her or strangling her, my hand was positioned weird.

I'm just so scared. I'm worried she is going to die, that they won't be able to fix her. I know this might seem like an overreaction but this has been going on for over a month(the eye, not the nose), now she's having bloody noses, but only on the side with her bad eye. Her immune system is already not good with the leukemia, I'm just worried.

I don't know what I'll do if I lose her. I'm just not ready to lose her, she's only 13 months old, and the bloody nose has me really worried.

I've been scaring myself on the internet, it could be kidney disease, cancer, anemia, low platelet count, severe bacterial infection, dental disease(which I doubt her teeth were fine at her last vet visit maybe 2 weeks ago.) However, the most likely cause of a unilateral nose bleed is a tumor and 80% are malignant. I'm not ready to lose my baby to cancer. All of these can be complications of the leukemia as well, so her leukemia might be getting worse.

I could use some vibes if you have any to spare please.

She has an appointment at 9:45 today. I'm not going to clean her nose so the vet can see it and it's a clot so it's preventing more bleeding.

I'll update y'all when I get back from the vet.

Back from vet.

We have moved on to Baytril to treat the eye and Dexasporin to put in her eye and around her poor nose. The bloody noses are due to the eye infection. She got a shot of penicillin and a B 12 shot.

He also wants to put her on Interferon and since I'm doing her I might as well do Nuts as well. It's going to be a 10 week course of one week on one week off.

So, she's healthy except for the never ending eye infection. I am relieved to hear that.

She also lost the clot before we left for the vet so I had to carry the camera in my pocket to show the vet what it's looked like and he agreed it looked bad.

Also good news, she's down to 10.4 lbs from 10.5- 10.6 at her last vet visit so she is finally losing weight. They want her down to 9-10 lbs.

So I'm happy, my kitty is healthy.

Thank you for the vibes aj.
