Hey guys

I am just wondering if any one else is awful when it comes to keeping things tidy and organized.

/My bedroom looks like a old store cupboard which has not been tidied in years , i always change my bedding and make huge piles and hoover round the piles but i have so many books and paper work and i also have 3 godchildren who come and stay every other weekend 2 are 3 months old and 1 is 5 years so i have various toys and clothes and nappies ect..

Any one got tips for tidying and organization , xx

Some times I have a day where i can get my room looking almost perfect but you can guarantee 3 days on your not likely to see the floor again lol. Me and my mum argue about it I say it can be messy because no one apart from me sees it , she says it doesn't matter she does not want a messy room in her house...lol x

I am good at it, but my dh and cats are not. I constantly have to go behind them and pick up, and it is a losing battle. I work 12-14 hours a day, so I just don't have the time to do it any more. My house is a train wreck and it drives me nuts.

Trapped in the catroom! ;o)
Im functionally disorganized. My computer desk looks like I just jammed stacks of papers and crap in it but I know exactly where everything is when I need something. I alphabetized my dvds, and my books are in copyright date order....Anything else yup Im a mess. It doesnt help either that I hate cleaning that involved organizing...BF would prefer everything cleaned and put in its perfect spot..Since I do the cleaning he is stuck getting it my way!

I pretty organized though I do need remedial action in some areas of the house.

Don't buy any storage containers though until you determine what sizes will actually work.

Make three piles: Keep, Donate and Garbage. Spend just 10-15 minutes a day on an area. I set a timer to keep me focused. This seems to work quite well for me.

lol, super nanny is wonderful. children love her. in my opinion, when it comes to organizing and cleaning, the proper tools motivate me. with them, i laugh in the face of clutter!
without them, it's easy to feel like you've "already lost" before the battle even begins

I'm great at organizing at work but not so much at home. But my husband is very diligent about helping me organize at home, so it's not so bad!
Yay hubby!

I work in a nursery with loads of two year olds so i guess i have to be quite organized at work although i am known as half job jess lol because i will wonder from different jobs like ill sterilize the toys then leave them soaking whilst i decided to clean out the art trolley ect.. lol

Got to pop to Asdas quick , bin bags are on the list lol!

I know my friend (who is 22) her dad uses the 3 second rule , he will pick up any of her stuff she leaves about and says keep or not and if in three seconds she dont know its binned , she says it really works lol x

That sounds like Flylady to me

The Flylady system is what keeps me organized. Once in a while I "fall off the wagon" but than it's easier to get things back the way they're supposed to be.

I'm actually a very neat person and like everything in it's place so I know where to find it. I don't like a messy bedroom or any other room for that matter. I hate seeing an unmade bed, it just makes the whole bedroom look messy even if the rest of the room is spotless. So no I have to say I'm not disorderly at all.

My entire trailer looks like the aftermath of a tornado.

Pretty normal for the season as inside temps make it too hot to get any work done except between the hours of 3am-5am.
Still, I wish it was clean.

As for my own habits, my desk always looks a mess, but I do know where everything is on it.
