Goodmorning.

Todays question: Do you have dreams or nightmares? Do you remember them vividly or in bits and pieces?

Last night i dreamt my friend had to have a "fore bone" removed from her nose , she had surgery on her nose a few months back to chizzle down some excess bone but it has not worked i am not sure what i think a fore bone is and why its in her nose but that was my dream , i remember her speaking and hugging me and blowing her nose but i can not remember colours or where we were.. I usually remember nightmares really well , they leave my heart pounding for ages when i wake up!! I also hate the dreams where u think ur falling and wake up suddenly x

I have vivid, colorful, scary dreams and nightmares. I usually remember the weirdest and worst of them, with bits and pieces of some of the less scary ones. I have a recurring nightmare that is so scary and so vivid I don't even think I should post about it here.

Most time I remember my dreams right after I wake up but after about 5 minutes they start going away. Sometimes stuff thru out the day will remind me of a dream. The only time I have nightmares is if I watch a scary movie or eat certain foods before bed. Mac and Cheese and Almond Joys cause me to have dreams about my daughters dying. Tastecake cupcakes make me have dreams about BF dying and scary movies make me dream that Im dying. All very freaky and weird.

Last night though we went on a cruise in my head..Pretty fun.

I have weird, weird dreams usually and they're not usually very pleasent. I don't always remember them, depends on how vivid they are, but sometimes I do.

I have very vivid complicated dreams that usually end up with the zombies showing up... it's like a bad joke.

Ran out of all my food in the apartment for my cats and I so I try to go to the grocery store.. And then the zombies show up. All the apartment mates are turned into zombies.

Get away from the zombies, go out in a boat in the middle of a lake, fall out of the boat, have my arm eaten off by a killer whale, and then the zombies are all around the shore watching me be eaten.

Yeah... those are just two examples but mine are usually increasingly complicated.

For almost a year I dreamed of Linus but he doesn't show up as much anymore. It's okay. I'm sure he has better things to do than hang out in my dreamworld!

I have fairly vivid dreams (no zombies thank goodness!) and can often remember them the next day. Some more so than others.

I do have bad dreams on occasion, some I remember and others I don't. I stay away from horror movies cuz I get nightmares from that also.

I don't remember most of my dreams. The nightmares, on the other hand, jolt me awake and are all too vivid.

Mine have been so vivid lately. I forget last night/this morning but the day before was that DH's cousin had a baby. A few nights in the past week our house got robbed. If I discuss it when I wake up I remember all day. I usually dream in color and smell scents. DH had his first dream with smells this week. He smelled eggs cooking.

Especially with all the zombies!

I haven't had anything I'd call a nightmare in years. The last was ~Dec. 2002 when we moved to this town and I had a dream that some weird dirty looking guy was trying to break into the house and get me. I woke up from that, fell back asleep, then dreamed that looking out the back window of the house that overlooked the backyard that all I could see was a large grave yard. To be fair though, you can actually see a nearby cemetery from that window.

Usually I don't remember my early dreams, the ones where you replay recent events to learn from them. But then most people do not remember these.
The later sleep cycle dreams that come during early morning are usually remembered. They're always complex, vivid, and very odd dreams - like some action movie.

Yea, that. ^^^

I get both dreams and nightmares. I almost always remember the nightmares in great detail. With dreams, either I remember them very vividly, or I can only recall that I had a dream and no details of it. I used to have night terrors but no longer.

I usually remember most of my dreams very vividly, and they're usually crazy. I have nightmares on occasion.

Rob thinks my subconscious is on drugs sometimes with the crazy dreams I have that have no relation to each other in the string of events they go in

I don't usually have nightmares. Mostly just bad dreams. And I can't remember the last time I had a bad one.

Mostly it's just strange dreams. But I guess most dreams are a bit odd.

Some dreams, not many, that I had years ago I can still remember in vivid detail. Others I forget within minutes. Even when I make it a point to try to remember them I forget them.

Also, I dream in color and thought everyone did until I read that most people don't.

I get all kind of dreams from nightmares to "premonitions". Usually my dreams are very crazy. For example the latest: Denmark (the country, u know) is going down because they get a female primeminister who is going to mess everything up. Why do I see dreams like that!?
I don't know much about Denmark and I hate politics, my dreams seem to have different opinions/interests than I do.

I have so much dreams which seem to have somekind of meaning and they have lots of emotional feel in them that I can go on and on about the subject.

Over the river and through the woods...
I usually have very vivid dreams that I either remember bits and pieces to, or the entire thing. Usually, the more in-depth, like with a story line and jumping back and forth, I remember better.

I still remember a dream I had when I was 5 or 6. I was kidnapped by a bad man and was held in his basement (old house, dirt floors, wood support beams). He was threating to boil my favorite stuffed dog with spinach and make me eat the soup. Speed racer saved me! This was like 35 years ago and I can still describe the basement and where the cobwebs were.

I normally don't have nightmares per say, but recently I had a dream where my husband died but I could still talk to his ghost. I knew I only had a few days left until the funeral and he would move on after that. I woke up in tears after that....is that a nightmare? Because it was for me.

Scary movies don't bother me. It's real life crime that haunts me.

I have very strange, abstract dreams. Not really bad just weird. After 9/11 I had a recurring dream that the terrorists came to my job and took over the restaurant, forbade us to speak English, and beat us with brooms...
Sometimes I have conversations with my RB kitties in my dreams. Other dreams I have I'm narrating what's about to happen next.
When I was a child, I'd have a terrible dream every Easter about Jesus. I'd have it after I'd watch the movie, The Robe. I can STILL remember that dream. I haven't had one that disturbing since

I've never dreamed in black and white, it's always been in color.

I've also read that people typically don't see text in dreams or if they do that it will constantly shift or not make any sense. I've picked up books and newspapers in my dreams, read them, looked away and then looked back and they haven't changed. Signs will also stay the same.
