Patterson, NJ nuns need help - their cats need homes by end of month

Sister Maryanne 862 - 591 - 2083 (remove spaces) is in Patterson and her school is closing and the convent she is being transferred to does not allow cats (allergies and issues with the other nuns already there):

Here are some of the cats she has:
Mother (Calico) & Daughter (tortie) ~ 12 years
Mother & Daughter - orange & white ~ 10 years
Black & White (F) ~ 12 years
A Diabetic cat and a few others

The sisters are devastated and have been helping the cats for years - but due to circumstances beyond their control can not take them. All have to find homes by the end of the month or they go the local shelter where we know their fate. All are spayed/neutered, but vet is not giving vaccines due to their age. All are indoor cats.

What a sad, sad story.....I only wish that the local congregation could help. those poor, precious nuns and their kitties I am not in a position to help, but I know Who is If I can locate my St. Michael figurine, I will light a candle at work tomorrow and ask for an intervention - I'm not Catholic, but I have seen some amazing results for our clients when I've asked for an intervention Sending mega prayers and vibes that good homes are found very soon

Joey, thank you. I spoke with Sister yesterday and she said the only calls she has received are from people who said they are crossposting. If you find someone who can help please let me know or have them contact me as I have an email addy now.

Is there anyone who can help the sisters get a link with pix? I belong to the Yahoo!MaineCoon group, and I frequently see very similar cross-postings, and almost always, the posters find homes for the kitties, even from the horrible animal shelters in Georgia. If I had a link, maybe I could post there (I am Susano1989) or else maybe you could check it out for yourself. The MC group is very active (the Manxcuties group dissipated), from cat shows/breeders to rescue groups; they seem to have an incredible web of links. I just enjoy reading the threads there - who needs soap operas

Catsknowme, I just realized that I called you Joey. So sorry about that. Please contact Sister to see if she has a camera. She's in New Jersey and I'm in Maryland, so I can't go there and take pictures. I don't know if any of the cats are Maine Coon, so I don't know if they will let you post, but maybe you could crosspost the plea for help at the Yahoo Maine Coon group if it's allowed.
