cat in WI needs home

If anyone knows of someone in Wisconsin looking for a cat please let me know. A friend of a friend is looking for a new home for her 3 year old female cat. She is spayed, front paw declawed & just recently had her annual physical along with dystemper shot. Basicly this woman & her husband just had a baby & feel like they can no longer give the cat enough attention. Please let me know if you have anyone in mind.

That just tickes me off!! Baby and cat;s can and do get along! And she will have time for both!

Oh believe me I have an opinon about this one too, but I'm doing my best to keep it to myslef & doing my best to help find a good home for this kitty.

I wasn't talking about you,just the idea of giving awat a cat because oh the baby! Have you tried to talk to them?

Is this in the Milwaukee area? We MIGHT know someone up Minocqua/Woodruff way that would be interested... it's long shot, but we need to know if there would be a way to get the cat there before we make the call. It's about a 5 or so hour drive...

I'm not sure off hand, but I'll be talking to this woman in the next couple of days so I'll find out.

My mom lives in the Minocqua area - I will actually be going up there in mid August if you need someone to transport her. Let me know - I'd be happy to help out.

Rang_27??? Any more information on this situation? I'm hoping maybe the people decided that they couldn't part with their cat after all and are trying to make it work out?

Well last I heard the people were still asking around, but she said she doesn't want anyone to go out of their way & that they were just asking, but would never send the cat to a shelter. So I'm thinking maybe they were just feeling guilty about not having enough time & trying to find someone who had more time.
