Yeah another post by me, hopefully we have an ignore function for folks well past sick of me!

Spend the morning researching and this isn't a question my vet can answer, actually I am starting to realize there isnt much more my vets can really do for my cat anymore but push trying Z/D again over and over.

Was thinking of a fatty acid supplement to help with his infections, inflammations etc. I just dont want to overdose him on it if NB Vension and Green pea has enough of it.
The only thing that stood out is Salmon oil from NB website.

Venison, Venison Broth, Venison Liver, Pea Flour, Venison Meal, Salmon Oil, Dicalcium Phosphate, Kelp, Flaxseed, Guar Gum, Potassium Chloride, Methionine, Taurine, Parsley, Yucca Schidigera Extract, Sodium Chloride, Dried Cranberries, Carrageenan, Zinc Sulfate, Ferrous Sulfate, Vitamin E Supplement, Copper Sulfate, Manganese Sulfate, Niacin Supplement, Sodium Selenite, Thiamine Mononitrate, Calcium Pantothenate, Calcium Iodate, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6), Riboflavin, Vitamin A Supplement, Folic Acid, Biotin, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Vitamin B12 Supplement.

Or if someone can point me to search engine for local Feline Nutritionists but I suppose they are quite rare.

Cats need fatty acids... Just like us the omega 6 s are at time out of balence to the omega 3 ... stadard ratio 10 to 1 down to 5 to 1 .... some claim 3 to 1 ... I prefer 8 to1 to 5 to1 ...

say the food has 3% omega six and .5 omega 3 .. that is a 6 to 1 ratio

I just looked for well balanced supplements

Thanks Sharky, I ordered Doctors Foster & Smith Premium Plus Omega-3 Gel Caps 100 gel caps, unlike my human ones these dont have soy under ingredients. I am running under the belief if a cat has allergies giving him fish oil is not the same as fish meat.
